It seems that I may get in one update a year! Since I don't seem to have any time to update this page, or at least don't make any time to update this page, I will leave you with a quote I read in a FAQ on The Enhanced IDE/Fast-ATA FAQ.

On soapbox: About my regularity in updates... I promise that I will not use the term, "*nd*r c*nstr*ct**n" anywhere on my pages as relates to my webpage being incomplete, nor will I patronize you with little pictures reflecting this state. (What I really need to do is finish writing that program to generate these pages...)

In any event, back to the FAQ. As an answer to the question, "A guy on the net has the same drive and he gets 33MB/s!" The answer is simply a quote:

"Usenet is like a herd of performing elephants with diarrhea - massive, difficult to redirect, awe-inspiring, entertaining, and a source of mind-boggling amounts of excrement when you least expect it."
- Gene Spafford (spaf@cs.purdue.edu), 1992

How true.

This page will be updated over the 1998 Christmas holiday. I hope to get some more of the 3d stuff that is sitting on my harddrive into html form and on the webpage.
